Well, I didn't cut it to shape, I broke it. It was rectangular but I wanted one end to be jagged. Didn't care how jagged or in what way, so I stuck the piece in the vise out in the barn and attacked the end with a fence tool. You never know how it'll split and break off, but it turned out pretty cool!

Was the ivory already in that shape, or did you cut it especially for this piece?
