My pumpkin got second place today. The winner was the large jack-o-lantern next to it. Third place was the one with the planets on it. Congratulations to the winners! :-)

Just like a chicken show...you never know? I still like yours best, but 1300 miles was a little far to cast my vote...Sorry. I looked up Durer's work and found it to be "one of the world's classic engravings" LOL I thought you modeled it after Remingtons "A Dash for the Timbers"...or "Coming thru the Rye" Just to admit how wrong I was(or how much I like Remington!!!) Aaron ps...nice product placement on that Coca Cola...
I don't know what famous engraving you were referencing, but your pumpkin turned out really awesome! Too bad I couldn't vote for it. How did it feel to give your eyes a rest from the microscope to engrave something? ;)
I have to say, though, the wacky shape of the first place pumpkin really fit what they did with it!

What is wrong with people? Yours was clearly the best in my mind, but I am too far away to come and vote! What was the prize? -BMc.
Your pumpkin is so cool, too bad you couldn't cut it out and put it in a frame!
You could pull a print from it . . .
