how to comment on the blog

I still need to type up my summary of the FEGA show in Reno that I attended over the weekend. I'm still basking in the awesomeness and simply haven't managed to put the words down yet. So in the mean time, let me explain something that people often ask about:

How to comment on the blog.

ANYONE can comment. You do not need to have a Google account.

If you are looking at the whole blog, where you see multiple postings on the page, at the bottom of each post is something that says "# comments". "#" of course could be 0 or 1 or 2 or a whole bunch. Click on it.
Over on the right you should see a box that says "leave your comment." Type into that box.

Then you're going to have to type the funny looking letters, so that blogger knows you aren't spam. If you get it wrong it'll make you do it again. If you can't see funny looking letters, try another browser.

Below that, it says "choose an identity."
If you have a google account, you can just log in!
If you don't know what OpenID is, don't worry about it.
If you have a website and/or you want your name to show up, so it'll say "John Doe says..." then click on name/URL and simply type your name into the box.
ANYONE can post anonymously. You can sign it, or not.

If you're reading the individual post, because you clicked on a link to it, then down at the bottom of the comments you'll see the words "post a comment." Click there to leave a comment, and follow the directions above.

If you're reading through a blog reader, I have no idea what that looks like. You're on your own with that one.

Comments make me feel warm and fuzzy, don't be shy. :-)
