oh yes I did

You knew this was going to happen. Resistance was futile. I had to make this pillowcase. Sweet dreams to me! ;-)

Mom does not approve.... heh heh.

(I've had the farm animal comforter since I was about 9 years old...)

  2. Katherine, could you send me and Doug 2 cases for Queen (of course) size pillows? Or, if you're feeling adventurous, 2 duvet covers - full size ;-)

  3. Ah - I didn't actually realize that one was supposed to wear jeans under chaps. I do get so confused about these things (as, apparently,do quite a number of the weekend 'cowboys' in London, from the looks of it. I suppose that would get itchy though, riding the horse. One must be practical about these things you know... ;-)

  5. Wow, Katherine! I gotta say I am impressed! Now, if this causes you to have sweet dreams about the man of your dreams, then you need to make me one too! Honestly, I did not think that you would ever make something witht he fabric. Is it flannel? If not, then consider an apron for your mom. Maybe she is jealous and that is why she does not approve.

  6. Hmmm. That looks suspiciously like the hay guy. How do them cowboys throw bales of hay around without getting their muscles scratched? Now you need to make a shirt out of that material. And wear it to Bert's for breakfast. I'll pay.

  7. Rawr. ;) He is out there waiting for you, I know it!

That has got to be the oddest (and sexiest) fabric pattern ever mass produced.

  8. David- are you being serious?

    Dougie- hmmmm, eww.

BM- it's cotton, and no I don't think she would appreciate that.

Jan- seriously, I know. And one guy looks like he's wearing welding gloves, what kind of idiot would weld shirtless!? Or maybe they're bull-riding gloves, but then he ought to be the one wearing chaps, and no self-respecting cowboy would wear his hat so far back anyway (the guy in the light brown hat). I think I'm partial to the one in the dark brown hat. And I think it would take some pretty big time bribery for me to wear this pattern in public.... ;-)

Sarah- The first time I ever saw this fabric I about fell over laughing, it is seriously the weirdest stuff ever!

  9. They are also suspiciously hairless cowboys. I wonder if they wax or use Nair... Nair smells bad though, I doubt the horses would appreciate that (or the ensuing bald patches on their backs...). Oh dear, am I blathering again? Must fix that wire... ;-)

  10. WOW, nine blog comments already! The "Hunky Cowboy" pillowcase post was apparently very popular ;-)
AND one comment already deleted?? LOL - how racey was that one?!

Needless to say, those hunky men are quite hunkalicious... hehe. Congrats on making something out of that crazy fabric! Maybe you should start taking orders??

  11. Dougiepoo- well they could put saddles on the horses... Then again even riding with shorts on is bad enough. Again, eww.

CS- it wasn't racey, it was a comment that posted twice.

  12. Of course I'm being serious! If I had asked for an afghan, then you might have cause for pause. Although, now that I think about it...

And in future, if someone mistakes a post as racy... its good form to let them continue ;-)

  13. David, maybe I'll talk to Santa Claus about this... ;-)
