Katherine, I just wanted to comment on your dog paintings...they are Super! They are fresh, free, and at the same time deliver a real gut wrenching "pathos". Do not down play them indeed. Art is all about evoking emotions and I think these are as good as anything you do. Aaron
Thank you so much Aaron! Quite a switch from the drawings aren't they. For some reason doing realistic (photo realistic) paintings has zero appeal to me anymore. It's like I'm too impatient...but no, can't be, the time that goes into colored pencil is monstrous. Go figure!
