Waffling is good, it gives you time to think through things and weigh all the aspects before you make a decision. Of course, it might still be a wrong decision, but somehow you'll feel better about it. (Speaking from personal experience anyway.)

Unless you get an offer you can't refuse, keeping the birds is probably the easiest alternative anyway. And if you keep them, there's no way you won't work to improve them. I'm sure the birds are happy about this.

Any guy who can't live with chickens isn't worth keeping. If you had a pot belly pig in the house, that might be understandable, but chickens are really pretty benign.

That's a good pic - he is "posing" in such a proud fashion! Hehe.

I don't like to love with regrets either, so don't do anything you will regret - keep the birds you can and go from there. And yes, Mr. Castle-Dude will need to provide chicken coops, that's just an absolute deal breaker if he doesn't (haha - while I know JG is secretly looking forward to the day we don't have to wake to crowing at 2am, he's a good sport with all the chickens considering he's not a country-boy).
